personal spiritual growth and in the development of their professional
ministerial skills. We provide continuing education and further training
through conferences, seminars, literature, tapes, and other appropriate
means.
Provide Credentials for those
candidates with a clear and recognizable calling to Christian ministry.
Licensing and ordination enable ministers to perform functions such as
marriage, burying the dead, administration and oversight of all church
activities and functions.
Spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ
through evangelism, church planting, leadership development,
discipleship, and Biblical teaching and training for the work of the
ministry.
Promote Unity, Peace, and Brotherhood
among all of the various expressions of the Body of Christ. We respect
and protect the autonomy of local churches and ministries within the
fellowship. Affiliation with this organization is voluntary and does not
constitute governmental control of the fellowship over the local
churches or ministries. |
LEVELS
AND BENEFITS: |
 |
Affiliation
- An affiliate member is one who views MMFI as their primary
source of credentials, fellowship, and accountability. The annual fee
entitles them to additional benefits of affiliation, including a
discount on the annual conference, a periodic "seedbag" of
books, CDs, and other timely materials, as well as support and counsel
of the fellowship. Affiliate members support the goals, spirit, and
statement of faith of the fellowship.
Fellowship -
A member in fellowship is one who desires to participate in the
activities of MMFI to promote unity in the Body of Christ. A member in
fellowship would support the general purpose of MMFI, but would not be
required to totally adhere to our statement of faith, and may or may not
hold credentials with another organization. |
